Four DLC Characters to Appear in Melty Blood: Type Lumina

Project Lumina has unveiled the road map for updates that are on the way for Melty Blood: Type Lumina, including the fact that it will add four new characters as DLC. There is currently no information on the prices or exact dates. However, Project Lumina did announce that two new characters will appear in Summer 2022. The last two will appear in Winter 2022. Along with the new DLC characters, there will also be new character stories and stages in Melty Blood: Type Lumina. While the characters will not be free, there will be some free updates to adjust the game’s balance. There will also be some quality of life changes as well. Some examples of the updates include save and load states in training mode. It will also change the invitation function in ranked matches.

In addition, from July 30 to September 30, 2022, if you are hosting a tournament that meets certain conditions, participants may be eligible for the tournament-exclusive gold-and-black color palette. The host must have applied to official sources to hold the tournament, and there must be 32 participants on the day of.

It is unclear from the website if this offer is only for domestic tournaments. However, since Project Lumina posted information on the upcoming United States tournament hosted by Eliphant, those in the west will likely be able to obtain the skins.

Melty Blood: Type Lumina is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC. The last DLC characters to appear in the game were Powered Ciel and Mario Gallo Bestino.
