While in Wales to attend his mother’s funeral, the protagonist of visual novel Lily of the Valley runs into a strange girl, one who reminds him of a childhood sweetheart. Players will join him in his time with her, dealing with the eerie results of this meeting.
While the two form a friendly bond, there seems to be something off about the girl. She is gloomy, expressionless, and cold, having an uncomfortable fascination with death. She also seemed to know the main character’s mother somehow. It will be up to the player to find out who she really is beneath all of this bleakness, and discover just who the girl really is.
This release of Lily of the Valley is an updated version of an original work from Ebi-Hime (Strawberry Vinegar). It features all new artwork, an updated story, and a new soundtrack. The original version can still be accessed through this version, though.
