Platinum Crew for DJ Max Fever and Technika is now open. It’s an online service and community that lets DJ Max fans upload their scores and view stats and mission accomplishments. Imagine it as an online leaderboard for DJ Max. There will also be missions, songs, and tournaments connected to the service. Players can win DJ Max merchandise through Platinum Crew’s ranking system. The service rolls out in April, so check out the official site for monthly contests.

To celebrate the unveiling of Platinum Crew, Siliconera will be hosting a contest! One lucky reader will win a DJ Max Fever Limited Edition, provided generously by PM Studios. The rare set includes a copy of the game, soundtrack, art book, puzzle, post cards, and mask. Each set is customized for the winner and autographed by the entire DJ Max team. Only 30 copies of the DJ Max Fever Limited Edition exist and they won’t be sold, but you can win one here!

To enter the contest, just follow these two steps:

  1. Follow us on our new Twitter feed.
  2. Tweet which song you’d like to see in a future DJ Max game and tag your tweet with #siliconera. For example, “I want the Milkshake song on DJ Max! #siliconera”. The songs can be from other DJ Max games, but they don’t have to be.
  3. The contest will end on March 27, 2009 at 11:59PM PST. We’ll announce the winner on Twitter shortly after that and send PM Studios your list of requested songs.

That’s it! Pretty easy right?

Our new Siliconera Twitter feed will give you the Siliconera you love in bite sized form. We’ll let you know what games we’ll be playtesting, upcoming highlights of the day before they land on the site, and use Twitter as a place to talk to the editors. Over Twitter you can send questions/comments, suggest topics to cover, etc. It’s a way for us to stay in touch with you.
