As suggested by the Japanese title, this is one of the official Warriors collaboration games with other IPs that so far has also included Dynasty Warriors: GundamOne Piece: Pirate WarriorsFire Emblem Warriors, and Hyrule Warriors to name a few.

Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 was first released for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U in 2012 in Japan and 2013 in the West. It improved from the prequel by adding more playable characters, expanding the storyline from the Raoh saga all the way to the end of the manga, and making the gameplay pace faster.

The Japanese official website noted that this mobile game is made to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Ken’s Rage series—the first game released on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in 2010.

It is also revealed that Midas will handle this mobile release. That means this is the first in-company title the new brand team is working on after having also managed the global release of Square Enix’s Dragon Quest of the Stars. This title should also fit the mystery title slot listed under the Midas brand in Koei Tecmo’s TGS 2020 full lineup.

The mobile version of Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage 2 will be available for free with optional in-app purchases on iOS and Android devices in 2020 in Japan.
