Nintendo revealed that a Nintendo Direct will be held on February 21, 2024 at 6am PT/9am ET, and it will be the first one of the year. As usual, the presentation will go over an array of upcoming Switch games and will last over a half an hour.
The first of these presentations always tend to air in February of the current year. For example, the first Nintendo Direct of 2023 was held on February 8, 2023. This entry is a Partner Showcase, which means it will consist of third-party titles.
Here’s the official tweet from Nintendo confirming the affair. As is usual for these showcases, it will appear on YouTube, and people will be able to catch up after the fact. We are expecting this one to cover games coming out in the first part of 2024.
The last proper Nintendo Direct aired on September 14, 2023. That focused on upcoming games for the end of 2023 and a few of the 2024 releases like the Splatoon 3 final DLC and last Pokemon Scarlet and Violet add-on. However, there was also an Indie World in November 2023 that went over indie games for the end of the year.
The first Nintendo Direct of 2024 will air online at 6am PT/9am ET February 21, 2024, and it will go over upcoming Switch games.
