Switch games will be the focus of the 40 minute February 2023 Nintendo Direct. The company didn’t announce which ones could appear. However, we do have an idea of which first-party titles could appear in the showcase. Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe could get a new trailer, as it will be out on February 24, 2023. Bayonetta Origins is also likely, as it debuts in March 2023. The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is expected in May 2023. Nintendo also has Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp waiting for a new release date. Not to mention we haven’t heard from Metroid Prime 4 or Pikmin 4 in quite a while.

The last “Direct” style presentation to appear and focus on games was a November 2022 Indie World. However, a handful of indie titles were also showcased and revealed over the course of a few days in December 2022. There was also a Super Mario Bros Movie Direct in November 2022 that showed the film’s second trailer.

The first Nintendo Direct of 2023 will air on February 8, 2023 at 2pm PT/5pm ET/11pm CET.
