A few of the different free Animal Crossing: New Horizons updates were announced during the Animal Crossing Direct. An important one has to do with holidays. This time around, people will get free updates that will add special seasonal events to the game, and the first will arrive on March 20, 2020.
The March 20, 2020 free Animal Crossing: New Horizons update will add Bunny Day. This is the Easter-like event where people can meet Zipper T. Bunny. In past games, he’d doled out special egg-related furniture in eggchange for eggs.
A few other events were hinted at by their respective characters. When the free Animal Crossing: New Horizons updates were announced, Festivale’s Pave, Halloween’s Jack, Harvest Festival’s Franklin, and Toy Day’s Jingle were shown.
In addition, an Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Pocket Camp element was teased. When talking about free updates, it noted people who own and play both the Switch and mobile game will be getting special items in both.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons will come to the Nintendo Switch on March 20, 2020.
