Fire Emblem Heroes has announced that four new weapons will be added to the game as part of November’s monthly update.
The weapons will be compatible with four Heroes already in the game, three of which have been available since the game’s launch:
- Shanna: Sprightly Flier – Shanna’s Lance
- Saber: Driven Mercenary – Golden Dagger
- Florina: Lovely Flier – Florina’s Lance
- Bartre: Fearless Warrior – Axe of Virility
Surprisingly, there aren’t any functionality updates this month, but this is likely due to the developers preparing Version 3.0 instead. Version 3.0 was recently acknowledged in Nintendo’s recent financial reports, in the segment below: [Thanks, DonaldMick on Reddit!]
“Fire Emblem Heroes continues to grow, with a sustained number of active users and total sales rising at a steady pace. The share outside of Japan continues to expand gradually, and the number of active users outside of Japan has already surpassed the number inside Japan. This is one example where sustained operation of a smart-device application has led to the cultivation of markets outside of Japan. We plan a major update to Version 3.0 around the end of the year and intend to keep pouring effort into development and operation so even greater numbers of consumers continue to enjoy the game.”
This shows that a large-scale update is likely planned for late November or December 2018.
Fire Emblem Heroes is available for iOS and Android.
