Rosado is a soldier from Elusia. They are an optimist who pursues cuteness and beauty. When Nintendo released a relationship chart, it showed that Elusia might be allies with the Four Hounds, who want to revive the Fell Dragon. Hortensia and Ivy of Elusia also want to steal Alear’s Rings from him. Incidentally, Rosado is a retainer and friend of Hortensia’s. So it is unclear as of now how the player will come to have Rosado in their army. As a Dragon Knight, they have powerful stats and can fly, but they are weak to magic and bows.

Here is a clip of Rosado conversing with Hortensia:

In it, Rosado drew a portrait of Hortensia, but Hortensia demands that they re-draw it because she wasn’t making a cool expression. Rosado seems dissatisfied, since they thought Hortensia’s face was already cute. It appears that Rosado has a talent for sketching other people quickly.

Shouta Aoi, who voices Rosado, is a voice actor and singer. His more well-known roles include Ai Mikaze from the Uta no Prince-sama series, Rui Minazuki from the Tsukiuta series, and Licht von Glanzreich from The Royal Tutor.

Fire Emblem Engage is in development and will come out on the Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023. You can pre-order it from the eShop.
