Last month, Nintendo revealed that Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia would be releasing for the Nintendo 3DS. Two amiibos were also announced that could be used in conjunction with the game in the form of Alm and Celica figures. Now, we may have learned what exactly the amiibos will unlock within the game itself. [Thanks, SerenesForest.]
Thanks to a listing over on Amazon Japan for the amiibos, it lists them as having the ability to unlock an extra dungeon in the game. However, not many details were given, and there is no way of telling as of now whether that means that each figure will unlock a separate dungeon or if they will both unlock the same one.
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia is a remake of Fire Emblem Gaiden and will feature dungeons with enemy encounters, free roaming, and flexible character progression.
Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia will release in Japan for the Nintendo 3DS on April 20th and internationally on May 19th, 2017.
