Fire Emblem: Awakening Gets An Alternate Future DLC Map Today

Fire Emblem: Awakening received a major DLC map today on the Nintendo eShop in North America. The “Future Past 1” map depicts a bleak alternate future where you have to rescue Cynthia, Kjelle, Noire and Nah, all four of whom are trapped in a prison.

If you’ve played Fire Emblem: Awakening through to the end, you’ll recognize this as the map that shows the alternate future in which only the adult characters’ children survived. As you’d expect, it includes special conversations between the parents and kids.

The “Future Past 1” map costs $3, but as per usual, you can purchase it as part of a larger Future Past Pack with three maps for $6.50. The Future Past 2 map is particularly interesting based on what we know from the Japanese version of the game. However, maps 2 and 3 won’t be unlocked for a little while longer.
