Disney magically made a theme park guide for the Nintendo DS before. A new partnership with Oriental Land adds an alternate reality game. The Ikspiari Nintendo DS Guide is a download you can get at an entertainment area inside Tokyo’s Disney Resort. The guide tells you where shops are and offers other information like movie times.
Users also get a quiz game and a fairy finding game. The mystery mini-game has players scout the shopping complex in search of virtual fairies. Oriental Land’s system has a Pictochat-like bulletin board system which lets friends setup meeting times and, presumably, pass tips on where to find the fairy.
