New Final Fantasy XVI Story Trailer Appears at PlayStation Showcase

There’s more to see regarding Final Fantasy XVI, as a “Salvation” story trailer debuted at the May 2023 PlayStation Showcase. This comes just ahead of the game’s June 2023 launch.

This “Salvation” trailer focuses more on the Dominant characters in Final Fantasy XVI and what they mean to the story. It hints that the crystals harm people more than they help them. It also shows different characters’ viewpoints on their abilities and using them.

As for things to come, Final Fantasy XVI Producer Naoki Yoshida teased us saying that a Final Fantasy XVI demo would appear “about two weeks” before the game launches.

Final Fantasy XVI will come to the PlayStation 5 on June 22, 2023, and the demo will appear ahead of launch. There’s a six-month exclusivity period for the title.
