With combat queues from Devil May Cry and an epic story, Final Fantasy XVI is finally releasing on PC on September 17, 2024. Those who pre-purchase Final Fantasy XVI on PC will also get a few perks. Here is everything to know about Final Fantasy XVI early purchase bonuses on PC.
All pre-order bonuses, explained
Players who pre-purchase Final Fantasy XVI on Steam and Epic Games Store will get access to three different items:
- Brave Blade – a weapon to equip to Clive
- Cait Sith Charm – an accessory that boosts the amount of in-game currency earned
- “Sixteen Bells” Orchestrion Roll – a song that you can listen to in the hideaway
In addition to opening pre-orders for PC players, a demo was also released for the action title.
What do I get for playing the demo?
To prepare players for the epic story they will experience, Square Enix has also released a demo for Final Fantasy XVI. The demo starts you in the prologue of the full game. You play as a young Clive readying himself for war. With the goal of being a shield for his brother, Clive takes off to slay goblins. On this mission, you will collect potions and other small items to aid you in battle against the goblins. The progress made in this mode carries over to the full release of Final Fantasy XVI on September 17, 2024.
Those who play the Final Fantasy XVI demo will unlock a special mode called Eikonic Challenge. This mode gives players a glimpse into what combat will feel like once they are further along in the full game. Unlike the prologue portion of the demo, progress made in the Eikonic Challenge doesn’t carry over to the full game.
Final Fantasy XVI is available to pre-order on Steam and Epic Games Store.
