Final Fantasy XVI Character Art Shared for Gav, Vivian, Sylvestre, Anabella, and Elwin

Square Enix started sharing official art of Final Fantasy XVI side characters like Gav and Vivian Ninetails on the English and Japanese Twitter accounts. In each case, there’s a look at the person and a brief profile describing who they are.

First, here’s the Gav Final Fantasy XVI art and profile. He’s essentially a second-in-command character for Cid and Clive.

Next is Elwin, who we meet in the first flashback in Final Fantasy XVI as he travels alongside Clive and Joshua.

And here’s Clive and Joshua’s mother Anabella. She also ends up forming major political ties to other characters in the game as the story goes on.

Here’s Sylvestre from Sanbreque.

Finally, the Vivian Final Fantasy XVI art appeared in Japan today. She’s an academic who eventually comes to Cid’s Hideout and offers insight into the current state of affairs of different kingdoms and regions in Valisthea.

The Japanese Final Fantasy XVI character announcements also revealed the Japanese voice actors for Gav, Vivian, Sylvestre, Anabella, and Elwin. Here’s who they are:

  • Anabella Rosfield: Yurika Hino
  • Elwin Rosfield: Hiroyuki Kinoshita
  • Gav: Yurika Hino
  • Sylvestre Lesage: Kazuhiro Yamaji
  • Vivian Ninetails: Yuki Anando

And here are the English voice actors for those people:

  • Anabella Rosfield: Christina Cole
  • Elwin Rosfield: John Hopkins
  • Gav: Christopher York
  • Sylvestre Lesage: Andrew Havill
  • Vivian Ninetails: Lara Sawalha

Final Fantasy XVI is available for the PlayStation 5 alongside a free demo. There is a six-month exclusivity period.
