Square Enix announced a new tabletop RPG starter set based on Final Fantasy XIV. People will be able to recreate their characters from the MMORPG, as well as step into the role of Game Master and create new adventures set in the world of Eorzea. The Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG starter set costs $59.99 and is now available for pre-order from the Square Enix online store. It will release in May 2024.
The Final Fantasy XIV TTRPG set includes a Player Book, Gamemaster Book, premade character sheets with the Warrior, White Mage, Dragoon, and Black Mage jobs, as well as a custom set of 16 dices (6d20 and 10d6).
Other items included are a rules summary and strategy guide, and encounter map, character tokes, and ability markers. The recommended number of players is between 3 and 5, with one of them being the Game Master.

On July 2023, Square Enix announced that the new 7.0 Dawntrail expansion will come to Final Fantasy XIV on Summer 2024. Along with the new expansion, a brand new region and a plethora of content is coming as well.
