New Playable Race: The Viera
New Class: Gunbreaker
A new tank role class that uses a weapon styled after the Gunblade that was used in Final Fantasy VIII. Rather than doing most of its damage from simply cutting with the blade, the user pulls the trigger when slashing in order to enhance its damage using magicked ammunition.
In actual gameplay, while damage will stem from direct attacks on the enemy, Gunbreakers can use abilities by spending magicked ammunition. The Starting level of the class is Level 60, and the job quest begins in Gridania.
