With this update, the Save the Queen Relic Weapon questline will continue. A new large scale battle will be added in to Final Fantasy XIV titled Delubrum Reginae. This area is described to be the remains of the Queen Gunnhildr’s kingdom and where shrine maidens had previously come to pray.

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.45 will not only implement more spells for Blue Mage to learn, but also raise the level cap of the job to level 70. This includes changes to the Blue Mage logs that will see the inclusion of content from Final Fantasy XIV Patch 4.0 and onward. Additionally, a new set of Blue Mage specific gear will be available to obtain with the new update patch.

And lastly, the Skysteel Tools Upgrade questline will receive an update as well. However, new information regarding the Skysteel Tools Upgrade questline is scarce.

Ahead of the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV Announcement Showcase, Square Enix has listed the streaming platforms the broadcast will be held on. This includes Twitch, YouTube, and the NicoNico broadcasting service.
