The Moogle Treasure Trove Hunt will return to Final Fantasy XIV. Players will have the opportunity to receive more than a handful of rewards through the event. This includes various cosmetic items, orchestrion rolls, and mounts. The full list is available to view through the special website Square Enix has opened for the event. The Moogle Treasure Trove Hunt event will begin on March 14 and end on the launch of Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.1, which is scheduled to arrive sometime in mid-April 2022.
Players can obtain rewards by collecting Irregular Tomestones of Scripture. These can be collected by running various duties in Final Fantasy XIV. The amount of Irregular Tomestones of Scripture received will depend on which duty is completed. You can find the list of objectives and their corresponding rewards below:
- The Praetorium – 10 Irregular Tomestones of Scripture
- Dun Scaith, Castrum Meridianum – 7 Irregular Tomestones of Scripture
- The Weeping City of Mhach – 5 Irregular Tomestones of Scripture
- Copperbell Mines (Hard), Pharos Sirius, The Keeper of the Lake, The Aurum Vale – 4 Irregular Tomestones of Scripture
- The Void Ark, Dzemael Darkhold – 3 Irregular Tomestones of Scripture
- The Wreath of Snakes, Hells’ Kier, The Jade Stoa – 2 Irregular Tomestones of Scripture
Additionally, the PvP arenas The Borderland Ruins, Seal Rock, The Fields of Glory, Onsal Hakair, and Hidden Gorge will reward players with 3 or 5 Irregular Tomestones of Scripture. Like previous Final Fantasy XIV Moogle Treasure Trove Hunt events, players can obtain mounts available through Extreme Trials.
Final Fantasy XIV is immediately available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. Final Fantasy XIV Patch 6.1 will release in mid-April 2022.
