Final Fantasy XIV Has Been Making 7-Eleven Stores Sell Out Of Sodas In Japan

A special Final Fantasy XIV campaign event has been going on at 7-Eleven stores in Japan. Purchasing soft drinks will give you a code on your receipt which can be redeemed on the campaign’s site for points. These points can then be used to receive special in-game items.

 

Additionally, there are two different rewards paths: Path A and Path B. Here’s a list of the items available in Path A, along with how many points they cost:

 

Aetheryte Ticket x50 (1pt)

Deluxe Heavenscracker x99 (5pt)

MGP Gold Card (30k MGP) (7pt)

Crag Mask (11pt)

Housemaid Attire (14pt)

After completing both the Path A and Path B list of rewards, you can obtain a white Fat Chocobo mount.

Some enthusiastic fans have been going all out in their attempt to get their prizes, going so far as to purchase all of the beverages from their local 7-Elevens.

Square Enix has already confirmed that this campaign event will eventually expand to other regions besides Japan, though it has not yet been determined if it will involve 7-Eleven stores.
