A Final Fantasy XIV Xbox version is on the way. The last announcement at the FFXIV Fan Fest 2023 was a port of the MMORPG. Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida brought out Microsoft’s Head of Xbox Phil Spencer. The announcement also confirmed cross-play for all versions of the game. It will only be on the Xbox Series X and S consoles. It will appear in Spring 2024. There will be an open beta ahead of its launch, with that occurring during 6.5X.
A few details were brought up during the discussion. This will be a digital-only version of FFXIV and will support up to Dawntrail. It will feature faster loading and, if someone is on an Xbox Series X, faster loading.
