The official Final Fantasy XIV Japanese Twitter account announced rewards for Season 20 of The Feast will be distributed soon. In November 2021, it was revealed that a major overhaul would be made to The Feast PVP system in Final Fantasy XIV and it would affect how rewards would be distributed. Instead, a battle pass system will appear in Final Fantasy XIV from Patch 6.1 onward. Players will be able to obtain unique gear, items, and mounts through the battle pass system.

Additionally, a new small-scale player versus player mode will appear through the 6.1 update. This mode will pit teams of five against one another as they aim to push a crystal to an objective point on the map.

Final Fantasy XIV patch 6.01 is immediately available. The update patch has added the Pandaemonium raids into the game. Additionally, through the raids players can obtain new armor and weapons. Several bug fixes have also been rolled out through the update.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
