Square Enix released a Final Fantasy XIV exercise video. The Eorzean Aetherobics video puts us through a series of rigorous movements, all of which are based on emote animations from the game.

The Eorzean Aetherobics exercise video is mostly based on emotes from Final Fantasy XIV, although a few other animations are included. These poses include obvious choices such as Stretch, the Yo! Dance, Sundrop Dance and Manderville Dance, alongside stranger choices such as Point and Overhead Blade Block. Square Enix have also recommended variations on the routine on the official website, as well as additional options not seen in the video such as the Ball Dance and Ritual Prayer.

The Eorzean Aetherobics exercise video was created in collaboration with RENAISSANCE INC, a fitness company. RENAISSANCE operate a range of sports clubs and health programs across Japan. According to Square Enix, the goal was to encourage players who may also be working from home to get more active. They felt that basing the exercises on Final Fantasy XIV animations was the most enjoyable way to achieve this.

Square Enix also recently announced the merchandise that will be available at Fan Fest 2023. Some of the available items will include t-shirts, plushes and moogle slippers.

Final Fantasy XIV is available now for PC, PS4 and PS5.
