Square Enix has updated the official website for Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker to include information regarding the key cast of characters that will appear in the upcoming expansion. This includes new, full body renders of the individual characters. Additionally, the website contains a short synopsis for each character. The characters include Thancred, Y’shtola, Urianger, Alphinaud, Alisaie, G’raha Tia, Tataru, Krile, Estinen, Zenos, and the mysterious Lady of the Light. [Thanks, Gamer!]

Additionally, it showcases several new areas that will appear in the expansion. This includes Garlemald, Thavnair, and Labyrinthos.

The trailer premiered at the most recent Final Fantasy XIV Letter From the Producer Live, where it was also revealed that the release of the Endwalker expansion would be delayed. Other details revealed during the Letter From the Producer Live included the implementation of new hairstyles for the female Viera, and a complete overhaul of its PvP system. Additionally, the broadcast revealed that armor sets inspired by Final Fantasy IV will appear in the Endwalker expansion.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker will release on December 7, 2021. Early access will begin on December 3, 2021.
