Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker Footfalls Lyrics

Square Enix released the official lyrics for “Endwalker – Footfalls,” the main theme of Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker. Additionally, Lead Story Designer Natsuko Ishikawa provided a comment alongside the official release of the lyrics through a developer blog. The Final Fantasy XIV developer blog also reveals that Ishikawa originally proposed the lyrics for “Endwalker – Footfalls.”

Ishikawa states that the song “traces the steps” of the player, and is a key part of “understanding the tracks in Endwalker.” Additionally, Ishikawa mentions that the medley-style nature of the song is integral to understanding the “form of each song.” The official lyrics for “Endwalker – Footfalls” come some months after the release of the full trailer for the upcoming expansion.

However, Square Enix will release the track as part of a special Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker vinyl. The songs “Endwalker” and “Endwalker – Footfalls” will be available on the vinyl album. It will also features a special illustration of the Warrior of Light, as pictured in the cinematic trailers, on the moon.

Additionally, Square Enix announced production of a Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker calendar. The calendar will be available to purchase in late December. It will feature concept art and CGI images from the upcoming expansion. The illustrations can also be removed from the calendar and turned into posters.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker will release on December 7, 2021. Early access will begin on December 3, 2021.
