It’s been about a couple weeks since Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn’s service has officially begun, and players have been exploring the depths of Eorzea. Keeping track of all the items, quests, or even friends you make can be a hassle, but Square Enix recently released a free smartphone app to help out.
The handy app, called Final Fantasy XIV: Libra Eorzea, will show info on the game’s items, equipment, quests, quest NPCs, shops, monsters and more. Not only will it give you various stats on specific items you may be looking for, but it will also tell you which quests you can acquire the said item, or which monsters have a chance of dropping them.
The features mentioned above can all be accessed offline, but some features require internet connectivity and your Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn account info, in order to check out your character stats, along with friends in your buddy list, Linkshell, or Free Company. Additionally, you’ll be able to check out your friends’ gear and find out where to acquire it.
While the free version of the app has plenty of useful features, Square Enix will be introducing a paid version of the app, which will also give you access to the game’s marketplace.
Final Fantasy XIV: Libra Eorzea is currently available for iOS devices, with an Android version coming out in about a month.
