Additional 2B character shards can be earned through the War of the Visions and NieR: Automata collaboration quests. NieR collaboration medals can be redeemed for character shards and for NieR: Automata weapon recipes. Players can also participate in special challenge missions to receive both 2B and 9S character shards to enhance each character, respectively.

And just like the NieR: Automata event, players can log-in to receive special rewards.
