Final Fantasy VIII Remixed Is A Six-Disc Musical Tribute To The RPG, Out Now

Recommended Videos

To celebrate Final Fantasy VIII’s 17th anniversary, Materia Collective has released the six-disc arrangement tribute album “SUCCESSOR: Final Fantasy VIII Remixed” over on Loudr, iTunes, and Spotify. It’s the follow-up to last year’s “Final Fantasy VII Remixed.”

Across the six discs are 92 tracks by over 150 composers, arrangers, and YouTube personalities. Each of them are interpretations of Nobuo Uematsu’s original Final Fantasy VII soundtrack.

Included in the remixes are a range of musical styles including rock opera, Galbadia’s new national anthem, a flute choir, vocal incantations and smooth groovin’ a cappella, a power ballad, string quartets, soulful jazz, and a ska cover.
