Square Enix has posted the results of a survey cast after the Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier CBT. The results revealed that 75% of players were satisfied with the game. The closed beta test took place from June 1 to June 6, 2021, which allowed players to engage in player versus player combat. Additionally, Square Enix shared the general reception of players who participated in the Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier CBT. [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

As mentioned previously, 75% of players felt satisfied with the title. This is broken down between general satisfaction and being very satisfied with the product. 39% of users stated that they simply felt satisfied with the title, while 37% said that they ended up very satisfied with Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier.

The general reception to the Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier CBT also included impressions regarding the graphics and general design of the arenas. Players stated that the environments looked good. Also, while some players said they weren’t necessarily good at battle royale titles, they enjoyed their experience. Additionally, players provided feedback in relation to how different each job felt. Over 60% of users stated that they felt as though there was a difference when selecting different jobs.

Finally, the most requested fix from players was regarding adjustments to movement and character operation. 42% of players expressed interest in having this adjusted somehow. The second most requested adjustment was weapon movement and control, at 19%.

Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier will appear on Android and iOS devices in 2021.
