Final Fantasy VII Remake will be heading to PlayStation Plus in March. A description hidden away in the Japanese PlayStation Store revealed that the game will be available as part of the roster of PlayStation Plus games available to Japanese audiences. However, the PS4 version available through PlayStation Plus will not be available to upgrade to the PS5 version of the game. The text states that the free version of Final Fantasy VII Remake for the PS4 obtained through PlayStation Plus cannot be upgraded to the PS5 version, though an exact reason was not disclosed. This means that users that have not purchased Final Fantasy VII Remake for the PS4 will not be available to upgrade their copy for free.
