Square Enix will release Final Fantasy VII Remake Material Ultimania, a different kind of Ultimania book for the game, in Japan on October 29, 2020. The A4-size 336-page Ultimania book will go for 4,400 yen.
The deluxe hardcover book is packed with all kinds of development notes, artwork, and quotes from the staff, making it a must-have for all the hardcore fans. It includes details on everything from characters to locations, gadgets to enemy art.
It also has CG art by VisualWorks, references for the costumes, world setting drafts, and cutscene storyboards. As for interviews, the book features quotes from the sound staff and Q&A with the Japanese voice actors for the main characters.
You can pre-order the Final Fantasy VII Remake Material Ultimania at the Japanese Square Enix e-Store. It will release in Japan on October 29, 2020.
Square Enix announced another book called the Final Fantasy VII Remake Midgar no Arukikata. The production of this “Midgar Walkthrough” took about 100 days and is packed with over 2,000 hours of research. The B5-size 160-page book will release on the same date of October 29, 2020. It is also available to pre-order at the Square Enix e-Store.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is available for the PlayStation 4. The title reached 5 million in worldwide shipments and digital sales.
