Square Enix often shares concept art from both the original Final Fantasy VII and FFVII Remake, and the latest features Cloud in a dress. In addition to both colored and uncolored concept art, there are screenshots of the character model in-game both while walking around and appearing in a cinematic scene in the outfit.
While Cloud can acquire three possible dress options in Final Fantasy VII Remake, compared to the original game, the concept art only looks at the most basic option. This is the dress you get if you don’t finish any side quests in Chapter 9 before heading to Don Corneo’s to rescue Tifa.

We often see the version of Cloud in a dress show up both in games and the real world. For example, the short-lived Final Fantasy VII: The First Soldier offered a cosmetic of that outfit. It was based on the original game’s design. There’s also a Play Arts Kai figure of him in one of the more elaborate dresses you can get from the “Burning Thighs,” “A Dynamite Body,” and “The Party Never Stops” quests.
Final Fantasy VII Remake is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC.
