Square Enix appears to have ended its Final Fantasy VII Rebirth series of Twitter announcements today, teasing more news. Specifically, Creative Director Tetsuya Nomura said that people can expect a reveal “soon.” Coincidentially, this message falls on the exact same day as the Summer Game Fest showcase. That will be held at 12pm PT/3pm ET on June 8, 2023.

In case you missed it, Square Enix shared a number of developer insights leading up to this latest Final Fantasy VII Rebirth news announcement. Here is a list going over all of them:
- Day 1: A release date is being discussed.
- Day 2: We’ll see more of the world outside of Midgar.
- Day 3: The narrative will look at each character.
- Day 4: There will be some sort of preparations for people who didn’t play part 1 of Final Fantasy VII Remake in part 2.
- Day 5: There will be new characters joining the party.
- Day 6: New and remastered music will appear in the second part.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth currently has a Winter 2023 release window, and it will appear on the PS5. Final Fantasy VII Remake is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC.Â
