Final Fantasy VII G-Bike’s release is right around the corner in Japan. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine reports that the game will be released this Thursday, October 30th, for smartphones.

As previously detailed, Final Fantasy VII G-Bike is based on the Gold Saucer bike game from Final Fantasy VII, and will have Cloud riding a motorcycle, taking enemies out as he races toward the end of each stage. Players will be able to use Materia to execute attacks, and other characters from FFVII will appear to assist you.

Final Fantasy VII G-Bike has been confirmed for a Western release, but Square Enix have not announced a release date for the game in the West yet.
