Square Enix announced that the company will re-release the Final Fantasy VII Aerith’s Theme 50-note music box. The box costs 107,800 yen (or approximately $712) and is expected to be released in Japan on October 5, 2024.
Pre-orders are now open from the Square Enix online e-store. The 50-note music box is handcrafted by skilled artisans and designed to be able to play the song for a longer time than other of Square Enix’s music boxes. The entire duration of the song cylinder is 1 minute and 45 seconds. In addition, the cover of the box is labeled with a serial number on the inside, as well as the title of the track and other information about it.

Square Enix has previously released various collections of smaller music boxes featuring songs from the Final Fantasy series. The company re-released the latest batch of music boxes back in January 2024.
