Final Fantasy Type-0 has already seen a manga and novelization, and recently, it spun off into a second manga series. The news comes via the May issue of Square Enix’s Monthly Shounen Gangan magazine, which has begun serialization of the series, titled Final Fantasy Type-0 Gaiden: Hyouken no Shinigami.

The series, which will focus on the character, Kurasame, is being drawn by Takatoshi Shiozawa (Full Moon) with supervision by Tetsuya Nomura. Note that this spin-off series is separate from the Final Fantasy Type-0 manga itself, which was also done by Shiozawa.

You can find a preview of the spin-off manga on Shounen Gangan’s website.
