A Final Fantasy IV collaboration event will take place in Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent. For a limited time, players who experience the story will be able to obtain Cecil as a playable character.

Not only will Cecil be a free unit, but you’ll also be able to get his awakening stones for free in the event story. He will be an all-rounder type of character, capable of doing a variety of things in combat. As well, he can power up his skills after taking damage.
The Final Fantasy IV event in Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent will run from June 20 to July 18, 2024. There will be three chapters in total, and Square Enix will release them in two parts. The final chapter of the story will come out on July 4, 2024. Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent is a mobile game based on the Octopath Traveler series. It features a brand new story and takes place several years before the first game.
