Some Final Fantasy VII Remake Orchestra World Tour Shows Delayed Until 2021

Some Final Fantasy VII Remake Orchestra World Tour 1

A Final Fantasy VII Remake concert event won’t be moving forward as planned. The COVID-19 coronavirus has pushed back a series of shows in the name of public safety. Square Enix announced that the Final Fantasy VII Remake Orchestra World Tour will now have three of its shows running in 2021, rather than 2020.

While there are multiple shows still in place, with the earliest one being San Francisco, California’s July 9, 2020 show, three performances in June and early July 2020 have been pushed back. The Los Angeles June 14, 2020 show will now be performed on March 6, 2021. The Toronto, Ontario shows will be held May 20 and 21, 2021, instead of June 26 and 27, 2020. Finally, the July 4, 2020 Singapore show will now be held on January 23, 2021.

This is only one of multiple planned Square Enix concerts that has had its dates adjusted as a result of the pandemic. Tokyo’s concerts for Final Fantasy XIV and NieR were both canceled over concerns about people’s health. The Trials of Mana 25th Anniversary Orchestra Concert was also canceled due to the coronavirus.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is immediately available for the PlayStation 4 worldwide.
