Cosen handled the Japanese Switch localization of Fight of Gods, which was released with Japanese, Chinese, and Korean subtitles on December 13, 2018. The Japanese release was noted to feature a new native voiceover for Amaterasu, one of the game’s playable characters. On its Twitter account, Cosen explained that the developer studio did not opt to renew the contract, which is set to expire on March 2, 2021.

Fight of Gods is an indie fighting game developed by the Taiwanese studio Digital Crafter. Although the game mostly featured mythological deities like Zeus, Odin, and Anubis, it is infamous for including figures from contemporary religions, such as Jesus, Moses, and Buddha. The game was even banned in Southeast Asian countries due to the inclusion of Buddha as a character. Digital Crafter released a newer port of the game for PlayStation 4 in mid-2020, in which the three religious figures had their names and designs changed.

Fight of Gods is immediately available on PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. It is yet to be known if the removal from the Japanese eShop will affect other regions, as Digital Crafter published the game on its own in the western eShop.
