The Farewell to Kamakura – Little Big Tengu Fate/Grand Order event will send Masters to Kamakura, a former capital of Japan and seat of the Kamakura Shogunate. They go in pursuit of Ushiwakamaru, who has escaped into a minute Singularity to escape the discipline of Kiichi Hogen, the legendary monk, warrior, and onmyouji. Kiichi Hogen was said to have taught Ushiwakamaru the art of swordsmanship and magic at Mount Kurama, home of the Kurama Tengu. Event participants will receive Kiichi Hogen as a free 4-Star Assassin-class Servant.

The event will feature Ushiwakamaru Alter as a 5-Star Avenger-class Servant on the premium summoning banner. Ushiwakamaru Alter debuted in the Heian-kyo chapter in late 2022. There, she was known as Taira no Kagekiyo, and manifested after the magic of Heian-kyo antagonist Ashiya Douman took control of Ushiwakamaru.

As for the event itself, players will complete story and repeatable free quests to accomplish missions for rewards. The rewards include event currency that can be redeemed for goodies at the shop, as well as materials used to Ascend Kiichi Hogen. An additional mechanic in Little Big Tengu is the Supporter, a chibi “mini-Servant” that activates random skills in battle.

Fate/Grand Order is available on iOS and Android devices. The Little Big Tengu event runs from January 20, 2023 through February 2, 2023.
