FFXIV Valentione’s Day 2023 Adds Eat Chocolate Emote, Gear

Every year, FFXIV celebrates Valentine’s Day with Valentione’s Day, and 2023 is no exception. Starting on February 1, 2023, people can take part in special activities in-game. When they do, they’ll earn different rewards and items. As in past years, the latest event brings new gear to FFXIV and an exclusive “eat chocolate” emote.

Square Enix opened a special site to go over everything. The quest this year is “Suited for Affection.” If someone hit level 15 and took part in “It’s Probably Pirates,” then they can meet with Lisette de Valentione at Old Gridania. She’ll be at X:10.2, Y:9.4. When you finish, you get different sorts of rewards. Male avatars get a Vested Emissary’s Attire Coffer, which contains a Valentione Emissary hat, jacket, bottoms, and boots. Female avatars are awarded a Frilled Emissary’s Attire Coffer. That contains a Valentione Emissary dress hat, ruffled dress, culottes, and dress boots. The other two awards include the new FFXIV Eat Chocolate emote and Valentione’s Heart Desk table.

Here’s a closer look at everything:

This isn’t the only Valentine’s Day themed FFXIV development. Taito announced it would bring a Kupka Kupp lamp to arcades. The pompom on it is heart-shaped and lights up.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. Valentione’s Day will run February 1-15, 2023 in the game. As a reminder, you can also check with the House Valentione maid to get past event items.
