People outside Japan won’t have to wait long for the FFXIV event in NieR Reincarnation. It is actually live in the game immediately. This means Dark Knight 063y, Dragoon Noelle, and White Mage Rion are all available. So is the event story.
We first learned the FFXIV wouldn’t be exclusive to the Japanese version back in February 2022. At the time, it fell in the “after May 2022” NieR Reincarnation roadmap. When May 2022 began, it was confirmed it would show up in the Japanese version on May 10, 2022. Now, it turns out it is available worldwide.
Here is the official English trailer for the FFXIV NieR Reincarnation event. It begins by showing Phantasmal Exile (Rion), Phantasmal Prisoner (063y), and Noelle (Phantasmal Weapon). After that, it teases the story events by showing the Hades fight.

NieR Reincarnation is available on Android and Apple iOS devices. Final Fantasy XIV is playable on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. The FFXIV crossover event will begin on May 9, 2022.
