It took a while to reschedule, but Square Enix dated the next Final Fantasy XIV stream. The FFXIV 14-hour broadcast will be back in July. To be specific, it will air at 6pm PT/9pm PT on July 9, 2021 and 1am GMT/3am CET on July 10, 2021.
Square Enix didn’t offer many details about what this FFXIV 14-hour broadcast might cover. The teaser image did show Director and Producer Naoki Yoshida among other staff members, including someone completely in disguise. The announcement also noted that only Japanese audio will be available. So there will be no English voice overs. It also mentioned pandemic-related precautions will be in place.
This is the seventh 14-hour broadcast for the game. It was originally supposed to be held on February 6, 2021. However, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, Square Enix erred on the side of caution and postponed it. While it didn’t push back the Letter from the Producer Live LXII that was also supposed to appear that day, it did push this back to protect everyone’s health.
Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. The FFXIV 14-hour broadcast will air at 6pm PT/9pm PT on July 9, 2021.
