Square Enix has revealed that it will release a new orchestra album based on tracks from FFVII Rebirth in late August 2024. The company has also opened pre-orders for the Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Orchestral Arrangement Album on the Japanese Square Enix e-Store.
The company has yet to publish the track list for this album. However, it did note that the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra—which had performed the game’s track in prior actual concerts—will produce the new arrangements for this album. There will still be some differences though, as Masafumi Kurita will act as the conductor in place of Arnie Roth.
The new FFVII Rebirth orchestra album will be available on its own at 4,070 yen (~$25.50). Square Enix will also offer a set that bundles the album with a multipurpose acrylic stand at 6,820 yen (~$42.80). The stand will have the same key visual as the album, which features the complete original group of nine party members from Final Fantasy VII. The owner will be able to use this stand to store various items, ranging from the album itself to the physical game package.
The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Orchestral Arrangement Album will be available on August 28, 2024.
