Back in May 2024, Square Enix teased a FFVII Ever Crisis summer event that would involve characters like Lin and Yuffie. Now it confirmed that Summer’s Here: Fireworks on the Beach will start on June 26, 2024.
The announcement was accompanied by an initial trailer for the story portion of Summer’s Here: Fireworks on the Beach. It shows Yuffie in her new swimsuit. Cloud and Aerith are wearing their costumes from last year’s event. However, the teaser trailer suggests Tifa could also be getting a new swimsuit, as the outfit she is wearing during the story segment looks different than her lifeguard gear from 2023. A new Flan boss is also teased. However, we don’t get to see Lucia in the video.
While other characters are preparing to take clothes off for the summer heat, young Sephiroth put more on. He got new Natant Jacket gear. It is basically a down jacket on top of his The First Soldier uniform, which you can see below.
This will be the second summer event in FFVII Ever Crisis. The first appeared back in September 2023. It involved a Watermelon Tonberry boss and special equipment for Aerith, Cloud, Tifa, and Zack.
FFVII Ever Crisis is available for PCs and mobile devices, and the Summer’s Here: Fireworks on the Beach event begins on June 26, 2024.
