FFVII 25th Anniversary Cafe Will Appear in Tokyo

Final Fantasy VII FFVII 25th Anniversary Cafe

Square Enix will open a temporary cafe to celebrate the FFVII 25th anniversary in Tokyo, Japan. The Final Fantasy VII 25th Anniversary Cafe will appear at two of Square Enix’s facilities in the city: The Square Enix Cafe in Akihabara and Artnia in East Shinjuku. The company will open reservations for the cafe on May 27, 2022.

Ordering a meal from the special menu will net a luncheon mat. Purchases of any beverages during the campaign will also come with a coaster mat. The illustrations on the mats will feature artworks from subsequent iterations of FFVII, such as Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus.

The cafe will also have sales of merchandise related to the FFVII 25th anniversary. The lineup will include T-shirts and cups containing the new anniversary logo. It will also feature a collection of Cloud Strife badges showing his appearances from the original game all the way to the 2020 Final Fantasy VII Remake.

Final Fantasy VII originally appeared on the first PlayStation in 1997. Square Enix celebrates the game’s 25th anniversary in 2022. Tetsuya Nomura promised that more news related to the anniversary will appear in June 2022.

The FFVII 25th Anniversary Cafe will appear at Square Enix Cafe in Akihabara and Artnia in East Shinjuku from June 11 to July 22, 2022.
