FFVI Pixel Remaster Release Date

Square Enix announced the release date for FFVI Pixel Remaster will fall sometime in February 2022. The game will release on PC via Steam, as well as on iOS and Android devices. Pre-orders from Steam will include special wallpapers and soundtracks. The game is currently available for pre-order on PC as part of the Final Fantasy I-VI bundle. Individual pre-orders for FFVI Pixel Remaster will open at a later date. It will cost $17.99.

FFVI Pixel Remaster will be the last entry in the Pixel Remaster series. The game was initially slated for a release sometime in 2021, a couple of months after the release of FFV Pixel Remaster. Square Enix stated that the development team is taking the additional time to apply the final polish on the game.

In addition to the release date announcement, Square Enix also revealed two new pre-order soundtracks and wallpapers. The new pre-order bonus will be included in both the Final Fantasy I-VI bundle and individual pre-orders of FFVI. The pre-order bonuses will release alongside the game in February 2022. Those who have already pre-ordered the bundle will also gain access to the bonus content on Steam once the game releases.
