Female Tengu Confirmed For Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate

The new character Team Ninja have been teasing for Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate is indeed a female Tengu. This week’s issue of Famitsu confirms that Female Tengu will be released for both arcade and console versions of the game (thanks, Hachima).

 

Female Tengu is described as a trickster character, focusing on aerial movement. One of her attacks generates a gust of wind. Famitsu says she fights using the Tengu-Do style, which is also the style the regular Tengu uses.

 

Female Tengu will be released as part of an update in Japan later this month that will also add the previously revealed Phase-4 to the console version of the game, along with new athletic costumes.
