The Fate/Grand Order anime train keeps rolling, and this time, it’s going all the way to the end; Aniplex has announced a Fate/Grand Order Solomon adaptation. The new project was following the March 21, 2020 airing of Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia‘s finale.
Fate/Grand Order Solomon will adapt the “Final Singularity” chapter of the Fate/Grand Order game’s story. In it, the player and their companions at Chaldea at last challenge the one responsible for the Incineration of Humanity: The King of Mages, Solomon himself.
In the game, the Fate/Grand Order Solomon story chapter debuted in late December 2019 as a unique Raid-style event lasting until New Year’s eve. Every player was challenged to repeatedly slay seven powerful bosses. Players’ victories were added up to a total and subtracted from bosses’ total HP, which counted in the trillions. Players with their Servants at a high Bond Level (a stat gained when using a Servant repeatedly) also gained stat boosts. When the event was over, the Final Singularity chapter was reverted to a more linear, single-player format for newer players.
Details about the Fate/Grand Order Solomon anime project itself were scarce beyond the announcement. No estimated air date or production info was given. Given that Aniplex saw fit to compress the timeframe of the Camelot chapter into two feature films, a single film or even a one-shot special episode or OVA might be the most likely format.
