The official Fantasy Life Online website features a statement from the developers. It reveals the reason as to why service for Fantasy Life Online will come to an end. The statement reads that due to the inability to potentially continue to create an experience players will enjoy, Level-5 has decided to terminate service for the game.

In late October 2021, Boltrend Games announced a closed beta for the English version of Fantasy Life Online. From October 28 to November 5, 2021 players had the opportunity to try out the English version. While the global version of the game does not have an official release date, a worldwide release is planned. However, no updates were provided as to when or if it will arrive, given the announcement that the Japanese serves will come to an end in December.

Fantasy Life Online is immediately available for Android and iOS devices. Service for the Japanese client will end on December 15, 2021.
